Job Description:

Assist Cell Manager to driving new product transfer, shop floor productivity, quality performance, and continuous improvement to insure that production schedules are achieved in alignment with customer delivery requirements.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:

     Provide necessary technical support to production on engineering change, problem solving, trouble shooting and yield improvement.
     Support production start-up activities, prepare BOM, working instruction, test procedure, design process flow and provide test fixture.
     Perform engineering evaluations and support detailed failure analysis related to product to identify root cause of failure and prevent failure occurrence.
     Participate in transfer project, set up production line and manufacturing processes. Solve the technical issues after new production release.
     Improve existing production process through design of tooling, fixtures or new methods.
     Communication with overseas Thermo factories for product transfer.

Other Job Requirements:

     Quality data statistic and reporting.
     Quality and regulatory related training.

Educational Qualifications:

     Bachelor Degree in Electronic engineering or relevant majors

Experience Qualifications:

     Master/ Bachelor Degree in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant majors.
     At Least 2 years' relevant experience in electronic/electrical design.
     At Least 2 years' relevant experience in electronic design in a multinational manufacturing environment
     Knowledge and hand-on experience in circuit design, digital electronics, microprocessors, system architecture and embedded system design
     Technically competent in troubleshooting and debugging.
     Process product concept, good quality understanding, knowledge of regulatory (CSA, CE, UL etc.)
     Familiarity with EDA tools, such as Protel, Orcad etc.
     Knowledge and experience on Lean manufacturing
     Self motivated individual, possessed a mature and responsible nature
     Excellent communication and human relation skills
     Good English skill both in oral and written is essential
